Creator Guidelines
Every CINELUMO creator agrees to these rules before their channel is approved.
1. Copyright ownership
Only publish material you created yourself or have written permission to distribute worldwide.
CINELUMO does not verify copyright ownership on your behalf. You remain responsible for every right in your content.
2. Licensed content
If you use licensed music, footage or broadcasts, keep proof of the licence and its territory and time limits.
Creative Commons material must follow the licence terms, including attribution.
3. Prohibited content
No content that sexualises minors, promotes terrorism or violent extremism, incites violence or hatred, or facilitates illegal activity.
No pirated films, TV, sport, music or rebroadcast channels.
4. Impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, brand, broadcaster or organisation, or imply an affiliation that doesn't exist.
5. Fraudulent broadcasting
No misleading schedules, fake live streams, scams, or attempts to manipulate audiences or metrics.
6. Abusive material
No harassment, bullying, threats or targeted abuse of individuals or groups.
7. Privacy
Do not share people's private information, or record and publish people without the consent required by law.
8. User reporting
Viewers will be able to report channels and content. Reports are reviewed by the CINELUMO team. (Reporting tools arrive in a later phase.)
9. Creator suspension
CINELUMO may suspend a channel that breaks these guidelines. A suspended channel cannot be edited until the team reviews it.
Content ownership declaration
Before publishing (available in a future phase), creators will confirm for each item: “I own, or hold all rights and licences needed to publish, this content worldwide on CINELUMO. I understand CINELUMO may remove it and suspend my channel if this is untrue.”
